Drug and Alcohol Detox

Private, Secure, Medically Supervised Detoxification

A typical first phase of any addiction treatment is detoxification from any substances that the client is currently dependent on. Often preceding Residential Treatment, our dedicated medical staff oversees the entirety of the detox process. The process typically runs 5 to 7 days.

Depending on the client’s substance or substances of choice and their level of dependency, the detox process can be uncomfortable. Detox from alcohol can be particularly scary, and although heroin and opiate detoxes are rarely fatal, the withdrawal process can be downright unpleasant.

Comfort Goals

Our detoxification process goals are to make each client as comfortable as possible throughout and have them ready to engage with others when they enter the next phase of their treatment. Our clients are safe, secure, and medically supervised throughout the entire detoxification process as they transition through this stage in their road to recovery.

Clients are monitored around the clock and medicated at a level appropriate to their circumstances to ensure they are as pain-free as possible. Client’s are free to use personal electronic devices (e.g., phones, laptops, etc.) and enjoy the seemingly never-ending satellite TV lineup. Personal electronic devices can be used for the duration of your time in treatment alongside the responsibilities of our programs. Secure, fast WIFI is available throughout the property.

A Personal Experience

We understand well how personal withdrawal can be. Many of our staff are recovering alcoholics and addicts themselves. This unique perspective results in our team going above and beyond during this difficult time for the client, creating safe spaces for them to withdraw.
